Our vision

"Together we can make a difference in dressage"

The Dutch Dressage Future Plan is a foundation in The Netherlands, initiated by Luc Schelstraete, a dressage fanatic, and created in 2023 by several stakeholders in the Dutch dressage sports.

The mission of the Dutch Dressage Future Plan Foundation is to create better dressage with happy horses and happy athletes.

The foundations vision is to support and develop talented young riders and amazons and to promote the training of talented dressage horses.

With a holistic approach, the Foundation focuses on achieving good performance, stimulating innovation and promoting a healthy, respectful and ethical sports culture. This includes a focus on the riding style and type of dressage horse desired at international level.

By training, educating, managing and trying to mediate for talented horses, as well as providing temporary owners, the Foundation aims to help young Dutch dressage riders and amazons to eventually compete at international Grand Prix level as seniors.
